RACISM : FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN THE NETHERLANDS TO PROTEST AGAINST RACISM

Footballer players in the Netherlands' top two divisions( Eredivisie & Erste divisie )  will not play during the first minute of their games this weekend to draw attention to racism in the Netherlands league.
This comes after the racial abuse of Excelsior's Ahmad Mendes by Den Bosch fans on Sunday.

While players in the top two division stand still, the message 'Racism? Then we don't play football' will appear on scoreboards.

An extra minute will be added on to injury time in the first-half. The abuse of Moreira was condemned by many Dutch international footballer players including former Manchester United forward(Memphis Depay)   who's currently playing for Lyon.  while Liverpool midfielder  Wijnaldum said that the incident "really hit me on a personal level".
During the Netherlands' 5-0 over Estonia on Tuesday, Wijnaldum and team-mate Frenkie de Jong pointed to the colour of their skin after the Liverpool star scored his first goal in the game.

We understand that Den Bosch have apologised to Moreira for declaring the striker mistook "crow sounds" for racist abuse during the Dutch Eerste Divisie game.  The referee brought the players off after half an hour as a result of the abuse from a section of the home fans.
Dutch football association have opened an investigation after the incident happened and actions will be taken to ensure that this doesn't occur again.

'Pogba is waiting for Madrid" _ Mathias pogba says

Paul pogba's brother Mathias Pogba is convinced that his sibling could still complete a move to Real Madrid before the European transfer window closes.
United midfielder Paul Pogba is 'waiting' for Real Madrid to launch a formal offer for his services, according to Mathias Pogba, who believes 'anything can happen' before the Spanish transfer deadline on September 2.

We understand that pogba is unsettled at Manchester United as some reports claim that he's been unfairly treated at Old Trafford, however the midfielder played a vital role in United 4-0 win against Chelsea at the opening game of the premier league.

Mathias Pogba told El Chiringuito: "[Zinedine] Zidane is one of the greats and I think that if the club give him what he wants, he won’t have a problem, but if they don’t give it to him, he’s going to have a hard time because what he wants is not going to happen, because right now it’s a little late.

"They are missing my brother and I think he needs another midfielder. Of course, Florentino [Perez] can get him, nothing is impossible in life.

He also added; "I don’t think he’s worth €200 million, but now the football world is like that, Manchester are going to ask for a lot, but not €200m.

"It’s a delicate situation but the player has his personal goals, if you have to leave, well, that’s it.

‘ I can’t assure you that he is going to stay at United. We know he wanted to move, but he’s not to blame. He’s waiting. He works hard and we’ll see what happens.

"In football, you never know. Until September 2 everything can happen. My brother’s dream is to win the Champions League."

"Paul will never do as Neymar, he is not a professional. My brother is a professional, he has a contract with the club and as long as he does not sign for another club he will do his best."

"Who is Mourinho? ‘No, a player does not always have to be with his coach." he said. "If the coach is not with his players, his players do not have to be with him. He (Mourinho) was not with the team and the team was not with him."

But united may do whatever it takes to make sure that the French midfielder remains at Old Trafford for as long as possible.

This striker could replace T.Abraham

After a disappointing  night for Abraham and the entire Chelsea team.  The blues are reportedly looking for the youngster replacement.

Inter Milan and Argentine forward Icardi has been a long target for the blues and they may make an approach in attempt to bring the forward to Stamford Bridge.

Icardi is believed to be unhappy at inter.
He may be looking to continue his career somewhere else.

He is irreplaceable.

The Champions League winners started poorly without featuring  the Brazilian frontman, highlighting just how crucial he is to Jurgen Klopp's side. Don’t ever doubt Roberto Firmino’s importance to this Liverpool team.

Liverpool remain the Kings of Europe, coming from behind to trash Chelsea FC on penalties in the UEFA Super Cup, after an outstanding 2-2 draw in Istanbul.

But it was Roberto firmino's substitution that got them back on track, after an a dissapointing opening 45 minutes at Vodafone Park.

It's with no doubt that firmino is a major player at anfield.  He brought the best out of mane

It has been suggested, on the back of a record-breaking transfer in 2019, that the Red Devils could have landed the £80 million defender some years back .

Moyes was said to have ignored  the opportunity to sign Maguire for just £4m when charged with the task of succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford. (Goal)
